Basketball Strength & Conditioning Camp
This 2 Week clinic is designed to work on the athlete’s strength and power to become the most explosive player on the court.
The athletes will be taught:
Olympic Lifting
Strength Training Techniques to carry the athlete through a long tough season.
Plyometric Jumping exercises to increase their vertical leaping ability and to augment shooting and rebounding skills.
Agility drills will work on muscles forgotten in normal preparation for the season. We will also work on basketball specific conditioning, which is different from just aerobic or cardio training.
In addition, athletes will receive a Basketball Specific Nutrition packet to learn the importance of a well balanced diet, and what effect the 7 nutrients have on sports performance.
This camp will be (4) days each week, Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday. Wednesdays they will be off to recover properly.
