Sensei Tara has been a student of the Martial Arts for over 17 years. In 1995 she acquired her Black Belt Degree. She was the Co-Owner of the Kyokushin Karate School of Tallahassee, Florida. She was the instructor and coordinator of the children’s program. She has been instruction in Georgia since 2000.
Sensei Tara has also been very involved with teaching children outside of karate. Her teaching includes: Five (5) years preschool lead teacher, two (2) years elementary substitute teacher, and coach of soccer, swimming, and softball programs.
Her approach to teaching Karate is through love, fun, and discipline.
