Georgia ODP 1993 Boys Soccer Team Wins National Championship

The Georgia State Olympic Development Program 1993 Boys Soccer Team was crowned the National Champions on March 14 in Phoenix Arizona. The team had earned the trip to the National Championships (final 4) by winning the Southeast Regional Title in January in New Orleans.  The team played Minnesota in the Semi-Finals and won 2-1 to advance to the Final game on Sunday March 14th. They played California South and won 1-0. The team consists of players from all over the state of Georgia and many of the soccer club teams in Atlanta but some are from right here is North Fulton. Team Members from North Fulton are Cameron Magoon (Roswell High School) Jeff Degen (Northview) Conner Davis (Centennial). They are coached by Iggy Moleka from Atlanta Soccer Association in Cumming and Ricardo Montoya.
